2019 STATEWIDE ARTIST SURVEY (closed) 

1/20/19 All visual artists in Colorado are requested to complete this ten-minute survey. This is your chance to ask for what you need. Click here to start the survey. Results from the 2015 survey were used to create artist support programs across the state. The survey report is available through Americans For the Arts.

NEW: IN MEMORI GRANT PROGRAM

12/1/18 COA invites families and individuals to fund a creative grant in honor of a beloved artist who has passed on. Each grant is named after the artist being remembered. The donor decides which art medium they would like to support, within the visual arts. Grant awardees are determined by an independent jury. Contact us for more information on this special program. 

GRANTMAKING FOCUS FOR 2019

1/1/19 Colorado Artists has scaled back its service programs to focus on fundraising and creative grantmaking in 2019. It's education and coaching programs have been transferred to Evolution Arts Academy, an online learning hub created by COA's founding director. It's open to all visual artists.

Colorado Artists (COA) is a statewide 501(c)(3) nonprofit that raising funds to provide creative grants for visual artists. It was founded in 2014 by artists living and working in the Roaring Fork Valley, as a Carbondale Creative District project. In 2017 the office moved to Denver.
